Before you come in
CODY
Moisturize and gently exfoliate for a week leading up to your session. Healthy skin = better healing!
Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting ink on (zip-up hoodies or button-ups for back pieces are perfect).
Plan to relax for 24–48 hours after your session. No heavy workouts or strenuous labor—give your body time to heal.
Tattoos hurt, but they are doable. Breathe, listen to your body, and remember: the sensation is temporary!
Bring snacks. Having a bit of sugar & electrolytes can help prevent potential for light-headedness before a session, or after a long session when your body can feel fatigued.
DAYNA
Eat a solid, full meal before you head to the studio.
Skip the alcohol the night before and the morning of your session.
A zip-up sweater is the gold standard for staying warm and comfortable.
It’s okay to take Tylenol if you’re nervous about the pain!
Bring headphones and snacks, but please leave the kiddos at home.
MADDY
Don't try any brand-new skincare products right before your session.
Speak up if you need to shift positions or if I’m leaning on you too hard.
Not sure what to wear for a specific spot? Just ask us ahead of time.
We can always split big projects into sections to help with pain or budget.
If you didn't bring a snack, you’re always welcome to take a break to go grab one.
STEVEN
A full night’s rest is the best way to manage your pain threshold.
Always double-check the labels on your prescription meds before your appointment, especially blood thinners.
Skip the workout on tattoo day—you want your muscles relaxed.
Don't worry about shaving the area yourself; let me handle the prep.
If you need a break or a snack, just say the word. No judgment here.
DREW
Exfoliate the area 3 days before—but never the night before.
Start drinking extra water the day before your appointment.
If it’s not exactly where you want it, we move it. Absolutely.
You are more than welcome to bring one friend along for the ride!
Wear something you don't mind getting a little ink on.
