Never feel bad for asking
"Is it okay if I...?" The answer is almost always YES.
We know sitting in the chair can be nerve-wracking, but we’re here to make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. We asked our artists what they wish clients would ask more often:
Cody: Don’t hesitate to ask for a break or talk to me about starting or stopping in a specific area. Want to see a design change? Let’s do it (major tweaks might hit the hourly rate). Also—yes, you can take your shoes off (fresh socks are encouraged) and yes, you can bring snacks to eat in the lobby!
Dayna: Ask us anything! We love clarifying our process so you feel 100% confident. And don't worry about the small stuff—bringing a friend or even sweating during a session is totally normal. We’ve seen it all!
Maddy: Your comfort is the priority. If you need to move the stencil, adjust your position, or even tell me I’m leaning on you too hard—speak up! We can also look at splitting big projects into smaller sessions to help you manage pain or your budget.
Steven: Ask me anything—seriously! There are no "dumb" questions when it comes to your skin. Also, don't feel like you have to be 'tough'—if you need a break or a snack, just tell me. Oh, and save yourself the trouble and don't worry about shaving the area before you come in; I’ll take care of all the prep for you!
Drew: If you want to move that stencil, the answer is absolutely. I want it to be perfect for you. You’re also welcome to bring one friend for support, pop your headphones in to zone out, or take a break whenever you need to stretch. Your comfort is the priority!
TL;DR: This is your session. We’re just here to make the art happen.
